I contacted Daniel Hayton as I was trying to find some stick on eyelid weights. I have facial paralysis and my eye lid does not fully close. My therapist recommended these but they are very hard to find as a general member of the public. Daniel Hayton went out of their way to search for the item and contacted their network to see if anybody else knew where to get them. Daniel Hayton managed to find some for me.
I didn't go ahead with the purchase as they are really quite expensive and we are not sure they will work. My therapist and Daniel Hayton both made alternative, cheaper suggestions for me to try before paying for the weights. Previous opticians have either told me they can't get the weights or just didn't respond to my email. So, even though I haven't made the purchase at this point, just to be acknowledged and helped in some way was really meaningful to me as I felt less alone in my quest! Thank you so much. When my husband or I next need an eye check-up, we will be going to Daniel Hayton.

I have been going to Daniel for many years and the service has consistently been 5 stars. There is absolutely no hard sell ( as experienced with some high street opticians) and Daniel is very knowledgeable and friendly. In the last couple of years my vision has deteriorated due to cataracts and Daniel arranged for me to have cataract surgery. Daniel fully explained the procedure and I knew exactly what to expect.
The surgery was very straightforward and was 100% successful. My vision is now better than for many years and, at age 73, this has given me a new lease of life. I had been worried that I might have to stop driving due to the cataracts, however the cataract surgery has improved my vision and I am able to continue driving with confidence. I would strongly recommend Daniel Hayton opticians for friendly, efficient service.

Daniel and the team were beyond fantastic. Incredibly caring, insightful and patient throughout the whole process of buying a new set of frames. I have a relatively complex prescription, and Daniel made me feel completely looked after. I would always recommend the DH team to anyone in the Leeds area. I'd give 6/5 stars if possible!

Very professional, friendly, relaxed experience. All the staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Daniel is the most thorough optician I have ever seen (forgive the pun) and given that I have worn glasses since I was two that's saying a lot. I couldn't recommend this place higher.

My wife went there to have eyes retested before her driving test. She received a quick appointment and immediate follow up with some corrective lenses. The service was friendly and most professional. The testing was very thorough and the analysis covered more than was expected. (According to my wife: the best she has ever received). And she passed her test :-) millions of thanks to Daniel and the team!

Went to Daniel Hayton Optician for eye test because I need to take driving road test the week after. The service was first class; the staff were most helpful. Eye test was very thourough. They managed to get me some lenses that I could use for the driving test in very short time. I was very glad that it's Daniel's I went to. Honestly it's the best optician experience I have ever had and will definitely recommend to friends. By the way, I passed my driving test! Thanks to Daniel and the team!
