Received my regular comprehensive and outstanding eye test at this location, followed by the purchase of new glasses. Having previously had negative experiences buying spectacles elsewhere and feeling dissatisfied with them, I had a conversation with the Dispensing Optician here. I now understand that not all opticians are the same. Rachel's expertise in assisting me in finding the right type and fit of frame was exceptional, and her knowledge of lenses and optics is impressive. For the first time in years, I feel great in my glasses, and I absolutely love them!

Every individual at Wilson, Wilson, and Hancock has been truly amazing. Our recent visit for my teenage daughter's eye test, frame and lens selection, and the final fitting was exceptional. The team displayed a high level of knowledge and honesty, resulting in my daughter now owning a pair of glasses she is happy to wear. I extend my eternal gratitude to Paul for his care and concern regarding my son's eye problem.

Have been coming here for almost 30 years. The service is always excellent and with the new Covid protections it feels safe but welcoming. My optician (Greg I think?) was calm and friendly. Jo suggested a lovely pair of glasses - really pleased.

I had a eye check up at Wilson & Hancock in Hastings today and what a pleasant & informative experience it was. The check up was carried out by Paul McDonald. Paul has a real enthusiasm for his work & really knows his stuff & explains everything in an easy to understand & clear manner. I really felt that he cared about me as a patient/client. My last eye check up at a high street chain felt like I was on a conveyor belt.
They also have some impressive tech on site. I had a laser scan of my eyes carried out which allows the optician to see right to the back of your eye & check the health of your eye & screen for a number of conditions & indicators of potential problems/issues. I highly recommend Wilson & Hancock to anybody who is looking for that excellent service that you only seem to get from smaller independent businesses.

All staff extremely professional and helpful and nothing is a problem fir them.wouldn't go anywhere else.expensive but you get a fantastic service and excellent choice of glasses.
