From start to finish, we received a wonderful service and experience. James put my daughter at ease with her eye test and was only to happy to explain everything. At not time did we feel rushed and everyone at the store was very welcoming and polite. We had been recommended here by a friend and have already passed this recommendation. Many thanks to everyone for making it such a happy experience for both myself and daughter. The reminders both via text and email are so useful. Thanks for a wonderful service.

Staff where fantastic, they all helped me pick frames for my new glasses, very polite, compassionate and empathetic. I recently have been diagnosed with bletharitis and the optician explained everything to me and made me feel more confident about my future with this disease. A truly excellent opticians, thank you Team Barracloughs Battle. My eye examination with the brilliant David Bottrill noticed a potential eye condition that could have life changing vision issues. Mr Bottrill organised an immediate referral to the eye hospital. I can't thank him enough for his expertise and diligence. Also a special thanks to Natalie who started the whole process for me, a super quick appointment followed with superb customer care and explaining everything clearly with professionalism and kindness. I have been wearing glasses for sometime now and wanted to try a new local opticians for my 2 year check up - I'm so glad I chose Barracloughs in Battle! From the moment I walked in the staff were super friendly all Covid protocols were outstanding. James carried out my eye test and I can safely say I have never had such a informative eye test in my life. I want to wear contact lenses and James went through everything with me and I'm excited about my lens appointment in a couple of weeks time. Will throughly recommend to family and friends - thank you!
