Hendon Opticians & Contact Lens Centre

29th September 2025 11:30 AM, I had an appointment. We arrived at 11:30 AM, and spoke to a receptionist, Sapna, and she was polite towards the start. Usually, an examiner introduces themselves but that was not the case today. She entered the room, no introduction, no smile, no respect, and did the examination. We asked her to give us the prescription and the results to the examination. She told us to go to the receptionist and she will give it to us. Altogether, a referral to a hospital and an examination is 85, which we had already paid. She, Sapna, completely changed the scenario, ignoring the fact that we asked for a prescription and went to the topic glasses. She said that if I do not get glasses, which were 125, she will not explain the WHOLE examination to the hospital during the referral. While we were sitting there, the same person who had just pressured me into buying glasses left us half throughout a conversation and went to another patient to serve them EXTREMELY kindly. I am disappointed with the service of this clinic. The rest is your choice if you want to get an appointment or not.

This optician is the best in the area and is incredibly helpful. The staff are very knowledgeable and wonderful. I would highly recommend them.

Great selection of frames especially ones for smaller faces like mine. They are so friendly, professional and never push you to buy. They gave me an honest opinion and even let me take time to choose at home discussing it with my friends. Makes a big difference in this current climate. I came in to this Optician to get some lens cleaner and advice on eye health as I had some problem. I got great service from the people here and found them to be thoroughly professional and very helpful! Although I don't need glasses I will be back for my eye tests and sunglasses!
