Services
Eye examinations
Our comprehensive eye examinations use advanced OCT and retinal photography technology to assess eye health and vision quality. Conducted by qualified optometrists, these tests detect potential issues while providing accurate prescriptions. The 30-minute appointments allow thorough discussion of results and recommendations.
Spectacle sales
We offer Wrexham's largest selection of frames, including designer brands and budget options starting at 24. Our dispensing experts help choose styles suiting facial features and lifestyle needs. All spectacles include single vision lenses from 55 with optional upgrades to hi-index or varifocal lenses.
Contact lens fitting
Our optometrists provide professional contact lens fittings with trial lenses and usage instruction. We stock major brands including daily disposables and specialist lenses for astigmatism or presbyopia. Follow-up appointments ensure optimal comfort and eye health maintenance.
Emergency eyecare
Welsh Eyecare Service accredited optometrists handle urgent eye problems like sudden vision changes or injuries. We prioritise same-day appointments for serious conditions requiring immediate attention, working closely with hospital eye departments for complex cases.
Retinal photography
Digital retinal imaging captures detailed photographs of the eye's interior to detect early signs of diabetes, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. This non-invasive procedure creates a permanent record for monitoring changes over time during subsequent examinations.

Went to Schwartz after a torrid experience with a national chain in the hope that they could help. Service from Schwartz was a completely different experience, helpful, friendly and professional. I can see again! Would have no hesitation in recommending, thank you Sian and co, you were fantastic!

Went for eye test. Very professional and thorough eye test. Had my partner and my a myself tested cost 52 pounds for both of us. Was not pressured into buying glasses from them. Was given a card with results on so I can purchase glasses from anywhere. Will use there services again.
