Services
Eye Examinations
Our comprehensive eye examinations assess visual acuity, eye health, and potential vision problems. Using modern diagnostic tools, we detect early signs of conditions like glaucoma and macular degeneration. The 40-minute appointments include detailed analysis of prescription needs and ocular health, suitable for all ages.
Designer Glasses
We offer premium eyewear from leading brands including Rodenstock, Zeiss, and Essilor. Our opticians help select frames matching facial structure, lifestyle, and prescription requirements. All glasses feature high-quality lenses with options for anti-reflective coatings, photochromic tints, and impact-resistant materials.
Contact Lenses
Specialist contact lens fittings cover daily disposables, monthly wear, and rigid gas permeable lenses. We provide trial lenses and thorough fitting assessments to ensure comfort and correct vision correction. Brands include Acuvue, Air Optix, and PureVision, with options for astigmatism and multifocal prescriptions.
Sports Eyewear
Tailored sports eyewear solutions protect eyes during physical activities. We offer impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses with anti-fog coatings and wraparound frames for enhanced peripheral vision. Services include prescription sports goggles and UV-protected sunglasses for outdoor activities.
3D OCT Scans
Advanced Ocular Coherence Tomography creates 3D cross-sectional eye images using light waves. This non-invasive scan detects early-stage eye diseases like diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma. The 10-minute procedure provides detailed retina and optic nerve analysis, included in comprehensive examinations.

Great service from making the telephone appointment for myself and my husband for an eye test including a scan. The reception area is roomy and comfortable. Eye test with Colin Glen Barr was a relaxing experience, highly recommended.
