Eye examinations
Our comprehensive 40-minute eye examinations use the latest optical technology to assess vision and screen for conditions like glaucoma and macular degeneration. The process includes retinal photography and personalised analysis by qualified optometrists. Patients receive detailed explanations of their eye health and tailored recommendations for corrective solutions.
Contact lenses
We specialise in fitting all contact lens types, including daily disposables, multifocal lenses, and orthokeratology (night lenses). Our optometrists provide thorough suitability assessments and ongoing support for optimal comfort and vision correction. The FreshVision scheme offers regular check-ups and lens upgrades for continued eye health.
Designer eyewear
Our curated collection features unique optical frames and sunglasses from independent designers and luxury brands like Prada and Tom Ford. Expert styling advice helps clients select frames matching facial features, lifestyle, and personal taste. We offer both prescription and non-prescription options across various price points.
Myopia control
Specialised myopia management programmes use Miyosmart spectacle lenses and orthokeratology contact lenses to slow progression in children and teens. These evidence-based solutions combine regular monitoring with customised treatment plans to reduce long-term vision complications associated with high myopia.
Children's eye care
We provide age-appropriate eye examinations for children from age three, using playful techniques to assess visual development. The practice offers NHS-funded exams, free Lazer Junior frames, and Ray-Ban junior sunglasses. Early detection of vision issues ensures optimal learning and developmental outcomes.

Lucy is an incredible optometrist. She spent over 3 months going back and forth with me to find the perfect pair of contact lenses after laser surgery. All the team are incredibly friendly and conscientious. I couldn't be more grateful for the extra effort put in. Thank you again!

Life saver! I am a tourist and just arrived in Belfast. My glasses have been broken for 10 days while I've been on holiday. They fixed them free of charge. She refused to take payment. Thank you so much for your courteous service!

A conscientious team here, it's a family practice so you get a personal service. Also a range of brand frames some of which you will not find in other opticians.

Harris Rundle is an excellent Optometrists the Staff were very helpful and friendly. The customer service was to a very high standard. They were able to re-glaze my antique Edwardian Pince-nez Eyeglasses with real glass lenses. Not every optometrist will do this service and I do appreciate it was an odd request but they done the job with no hesitation and we're able to advise me
I can highly recommend Harris Rundle.

"Harris Rundle opened his first practice in Belfast in 1905. Still a young man, he previously had outlets in the North of England. The business expanded over the following years, with branches opening as far afield as Cork, Dublin and Derry" Well with a little background into the HarrisRundle chain of opticians I will say that this is one of the better independent outlets across the city. I'm in the market at the moment for new eye people. I've been with the same chain since I was 15 and I felt maybe a look around at the competition couldn't hurt. Prices however higher - expect to pay at least 14 for month contacts and almost 30 for dailies (I've currently been switched to the latter because of a previous eye infection) Worth a go though.
