Services
Eye Examination
Our comprehensive eye examinations use digital retinal imaging and intraocular pressure measurement to detect conditions like glaucoma and macular degeneration. The 40-minute assessments include binocular evaluation and peripheral vision analysis, with recommendations tailored to individual lifestyle needs. We follow national guidelines for recommended examination intervals, providing NHS-funded tests for eligible patients.
Contact Lenses
We offer soft and rigid gas permeable contact lenses from brands including Acuvue and Bausch & Lomb. Our optometrist provides trial fittings and monthly direct debit packages covering lenses, solutions and appointments. Specialized options include toric lenses for astigmatism and multifocal lenses for age-related vision changes, with expert fitting for both adults and children.
Children's Eyecare
NHS-funded eye tests for children under 16 include colorimetry testing for visual stress and dyslexia indicators. We provide prescription sports glasses and designer frames from brands like Ray-Ban, with specialist assessments for conditions including amblyopia. Our optometrists identify developmental vision problems through behavioral observations and specialized diagnostic tools.
OCT Scans
3D OCT technology creates detailed retinal maps to detect early-stage eye diseases. The non-invasive scan forms part of advanced eye tests, identifying macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and vitreous detachments. Digital records allow comparative analysis during subsequent visits, enabling precise monitoring of ocular health changes over time.
In-House Glazing
Our on-site laboratory provides same-day single vision lens glazing and one-hour reglazing services. Using Essilor lenses, we create customized prescriptions matched to frame selections, with specialized fitting for varifocal lenses. The process incorporates posture and visual behavior analysis to optimize lens positioning for individual patients.
