West Moors is a village in Dorset, England, on the northern fringe of the Poole-Bournemouth conurbation, just outside the larger settlements of Ferndown and Verwood. The EyeStyle Centre in West Moors was opened in 2005, joining the existing practices in Locks Heath and Shaftesbury. In 2021 West Moors welcomed a new practice team consisting of Christopher Bick as Practice Manager, Kerry Small as Resident Optometrist, and Polly Rollason as Receptionist.All three are keen to make the EyeStyle Centre in West Moors a valuable asset to the local community.

At EyeStyle Centre, your eye sight is important to us, which is why we recommend regular eye tests by a qualified optometrist. There is much more to an eye test than simply checking if you need new glasses. Many aspects of ocular health and also general health are assessed. In some cases you may be entitled to a free NHS eye test and help towards the cost of corrective glasses if you need them.
Dry Eye

Dry Eye means that your eyes may not be making enough tears, that the tears which are being produced are of poor quality or that the tears that are produced evaporate away. The normal function of tears is to keep the surface of the eye wet and lubricated so any shortage of tears or reduction in their quality can produce a gritty, burning sensation of the eyes and can also disturb vision. At the dry eye clinic the many different causes of dry eye will be carefully investigated and appropriate management determined.
