Banbury
Report
This practice has been owned by the business for 94 years, since Jonathan's grandfather Pete Walford set up a combined opticians and jewellers business in 1927. Pete's son Richard, and Richard's university friend Tony Round then took over the business and developed it further, changing the practice name to Walford & Round Opticians.
Brackley
Report
The Brackley practice has been part of the Walford & Round family since 2004. At this practice, Flo Hackett is our principal optometrist. Optical care almost runs in her blood - she is from a family where she is in the third generation of optical professionals! With its bright and airy interior, the practice provides modern eyecare to every patient that walks through the door. Mrs Hackett and staff have been very helpful in all dealings for new glasses and maintenance. All performed to full satisfaction.
Shipston-On-Stour
Report
Our practice in Shipston on Stour was the fourth location to be added to the growing Walford & Round family, after we acquired it in 2000. Our co-director Michael Round is one of the two main Shipston on Stour Opticians. He has worked with the company for over fifteen years, but also has a variety of experience overseas, including working in Australia as well as a little closer to home in Wales.
Solihull
Report
Our Solihull Opticians practice was established as a house practice in 1979, but moved to its current location in Dovehouse Parade in the mid-1980s. Optical care in Solihull is provided by Optometrist Lindsey Leek and Dispensing Optician Matthew Pickard. They have a wide range of experience in the optical industry and are accustomed to providing clients with the care and service they have come to expect from Walford & Round. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The staff at Walford & Round are all very caring friendly and efficient and go out of their way to be helpful.
