- I would recommend this business
I rang the Huntingdon branch today hoping to get a same day eye test - sadly not but they suggested I try St. Ives instead. Very glad I did, the team there are lovely! Excellent customer service, professional and friendly.

From Our Website
We are OPEN - It has been confirmed the government defines an optical appointment as an essential medical need and so we will be open throughout this lockdown. It is considered a valid reason for you to leave your home. Please note, we are seeing everyone in HUNTINGDON at the moment - see below. On Friday 23rd October, we had the news that we needed to leave the building at 26 Bridge Street, St Ives urgently. There is a structural problem following several storms that needs to be investigated. We are hoping that this is temporary, however it may take several months.
The receptionist's will be first to greet you and be able to book an appointment. They will ask lots of questions to ensure you get to see the right person for your needs and have the right amount of time allocated to you. They will also be ensuring any NHS paperwork is prepared and ready for your appointment. A dispensing optician (DO) advises on, fits and supplies the most appropriate spectacles after taking account of each patient's visual, lifestyle and vocational needs. All registered dispensing opticians have undergone a minimum of three years academic and practical training to qualify.
We have a wide selection of sunglasses which we can provide with prescription lenses if required. Nikki (leopard print top) is wearing a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses and Rachel (roses top) is wearing the new Rodenstock SunProtect Collection.
