My name is Wendy Wager, I am a qualified optometrist and I have been practicing for 15 years now. I have been doing domiciliary visits on and off for 10 years. I enjoy being able to help people who cannot make it to their usual optician for their test, and being able to provide a bit of company to those who live by themselves. I am a member of the Association of Optometrists and the College of Optometrists.
I have a wide range of frames and I use a local lab in Edinburgh so can provide glasses in good time in a variety of styles and prescriptions. I can also give advice on dry eye and lighting, both of which can make a big difference in addition to updating glasses.

Products & Services
After the eye test, I will check whether your original glasses need to be updated. Should you require a new pair of glasses, I will help you choose the right pair. You can have a look at the wide range of frames I will bring with me to the visit, in different styles and price ranges.
Eye Tests at Home
When I arrive, I will set up the equipment in a relevant room in the premises. I will then conduct a full eye covering all aspects of what is done in practice. Once complete I can advice the need for any new glasses, visual aids, and if necessary I will refer to the the GP or Hospital for any findings.
