Products & Services
We take pride in providing one of the most thorough and technologically advanced eye tests in the world.
The first thing we do is take a thorough note of your history and symptoms. We will ask you about your history of spectacle wear, the reason you have come for an eye examination, and any problems you are currently having with your glasses and/or contact lenses. We will also enquire about your general health and any medications you are taking (as some systemic conditions and medications can affect your eyes) , whether you have a history of eye problems and whether there is a history of eye conditions in your family. We are also interested in your working environment and any hobbies you have, to help us find the visual correction that works best for you.
- I would recommend this business
Have been a customer for over ten years. I am strongly myopic, so have specific needs and the practice has been meeting them exceptionally well. Everyone I have dealt with has been professional, attentive, and going an extra mile to make me happy. Not cheap, but gets a big Thumbs Up from me nonetheless.

|Service & support|
I have been using this firm for many years and it just seems to get better. They have all the latest equipment and give excellent advice. Most importantly they have time for you. Maybe not the cheapest, but if it is your sight/eyes you don't want to cut corners.
A friendly professional team. The examination felt very thorough and my results were explained clearly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place.
If you are very particular about getting your eyes spot on, this is the place. It's not a cheap High Street experience, but when you're told to get yourself down to A&E on the hurry-up for emergency laser surgery because bi-lateral retinal tears have been discovered, it suddenly becomes amazing value.
The exam room is like the bridge on the Starship Enterprise. Pretty much every machine known to optical science. In fact, these guys had more equipment than the hospital!
Cool team in dispensing as well. Down-the-line adjustments of your designer frames come as standard.
Not that I use lenses, but I'm given to understand that these boys are top line contact lens practioners. They manufacture many of their own and additionally for other opticians across he UK.
Once you become a client of this practice you never leave because it is the Rolls Royce of the profession if you wear contact lenses. First class service with first class equipment and I have watched them develop over about 35 years into the high tech business which it now is.
Excellent service. Professional, knowledgeable, thorough, trustworthy, and friendly. Highly recommended. By far the best optometry in town.

We do not believe in pressuring patients into quick decisions, multi-sales or buying products they do not require. Our belief is in providing the kind of service that is not readily available elsewhere, and to mirror the bespoke service you receive from our expert optometrists. A Registered Dispensing Optician is a highly trained professional, having completed three years at college, who dispenses and fits spectacles and other optical aids, working from the prescriptions written by optometrists and ophthalmologists.

We call them eye examinations not sight tests - as we test far more than your sight. Your eye examination includes extra health checks that you won't find on the high street using the latest technology. Our optometrists are amongst the best qualified in the country. People travel from all over the world for our expertise. Everybody should have regular eye examinations to check their eye health and ensure their prescription is up to date. Contact lens patients are advised to visit at least once a year; however, many wearers, especially those with complex conditions, will need to visit more frequently.
